For the first time in 3 years we haven't opened the season with an away match to Kashima followed by our first home game against F.C Tokyo which wouldn't have been possible this year because FCT is in the J-2 this year.

In the 2011 J-League Yamazaki Nabisco Cup; the Reds have been placed in group B along with Hiroshima, Iwata, Fukuoka, Kobe, Shimizu and Sendai. The schedule for the Nabisco cup is as follows
